Mikael Daez moves in to his new bachelor pad

As far as bachelor pads go, men usually don’t need a lot. A big television, a bed to sleep in, and probably some gaming consoles in addition to the most basic furniture are more than enough to keep them happy in their homes. Take Kapuso actor Mikael Daez, for example, who just moved into his new pad. He knew exactly what he needed and shared a photo of his place on Instagram. Practically bare and unfurnished, Mikael proudly showed off a part of his home, and the actor looked very pleased with it. He wrote, “When you’ve just moved in and don’t have any stuff… And I decided to get a TV first instead of a bed.” True enough, Mikael had a huge flatscreen television set up on the floor of his room. However, he has no bed and used comforters for a makeshift sleeping place. Aside from that, his room only had a chair, a small shelf, and a small crate. If only the actor did not admit that he had just moved in, then one would think that he’s following the Japanese minimalist sty...

Mikael Daez renewed his contract with GMA-7 last year, staying loyal to the Kapuso network which has been his home since he entered the showbiz industry. One of the network’s top leading men, he currently stars in series “The Stepdaughters” alongside girlfriend Megan Young.

Talking about his stay in the network, the actor shared in an interview with The Manila Standard:

I love it here. I think a big factor for that is I’ve grown here. Dito na ako lumaki. Going on my seventh year in showbiz on GMA, ang dami ko ng friends. It feels good, kasi when you mix your work and personal life, it feels fun. Your work is your life already. Nag-e-enjoy talaga ako.”
