As far as bachelor pads go, men usually don’t need a lot. A big television, a bed to sleep in, and probably some gaming consoles in addition to the most basic furniture are more than enough to keep them happy in their homes. Take Kapuso actor Mikael Daez, for example, who just moved into his new pad. He knew exactly what he needed and shared a photo of his place on Instagram. Practically bare and unfurnished, Mikael proudly showed off a part of his home, and the actor looked very pleased with it. He wrote, “When you’ve just moved in and don’t have any stuff… And I decided to get a TV first instead of a bed.” True enough, Mikael had a huge flatscreen television set up on the floor of his room. Jack Ma’s story is the true definition of rags to riches. Contrary to most people’s assumptions, he wasn’t born with a silver spoon in his mouth. Jack Ma was born on September 10, 1964, in the Hangzhou Province to a poor family who was suffering from the aftermath of the cultural revolution in China. When he was young, he used to guide tourists for free in order to learn English. Although he earned no money for this arduous task, it helped him improve his communication skills. In an interview, he was quoted as saying: “Every morning for five years, I showed them around as a free guide and they taught me English.” Due to his humble beginnings, he sees education as the light at the end of the tunnel. Ever since he
